Description
Eastman’s Tritan™ copolyester is an amorphous copolyester with excellent clarity and gamma radiation resistance. Key features include excellent toughness, Izod impact, hydrolytic stability, heat resistance and chemical resistance. Tritan™ has ISO 10993 and USP Class VI biocompatibility and is suited for medical devices, equipment and labware, including blood tubes and components for fluid administration. Tritan is an excellent alternative to polycarbonate as its properties are comparable and it contains no BPA.
