calc-i-pur™ β Tricalcium Phosphate

Manufactured by Collagen Matrix, calc-i-pur™ β tricalcium phosphate is a biocompatible mineral powder comprised of calcium salt and phosphoric acid. calc-i-pur™ is commonly used in the manufacturing of orthopedic implants to stimulate bone growth. Osteoconductive composites containing TCP minerals can be custom manufactured using bioresorbable polymers, including PLA, PGA as well as hydroxyapatite additives (HA) for biphasic formulations. calc-i-pur™ is available in GMP and non-GMP batches.

calc-i-pur™ meets the general requirements of ASTM F1088, “Standard Specification for Beta-Tricalcium Phosphate for Surgical Implantation.
